Tax benefits and donation receipts
KOSMO Foundation is a designated donation recipient organization (지정기부금단체). On request, we explain how to obtain a donation receipt. Korean tax benefits apply only to Korean taxpayers, and credit rates and limits change with tax law, so please confirm with the National Tax Service or a tax professional.

Why we do not ask for ID numbers on the web form
Because it is not yet certain at the application stage whether a receipt will be issued, the foundation does not collect national ID numbers on its web form. Any ID number needed for a receipt is collected separately by our staff, by phone or in writing, after the donation is made. Please do not send ID numbers by email or text message.
How to request a donation receipt

Tick “I would like a donation receipt” on the donation form.

The foundation confirms your donations for the year.

We issue the donation receipt based on the confirmed record.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to provide my national ID number?
Only if you want a donation receipt and year-end tax data submission. If you do not need a receipt, you can donate without it. We never collect it on the web form; our staff will guide you separately.
