Terms of Use

Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms set out the conditions for using the website operated by KOSMO Foundation (the "Foundation") at kosmo.or.kr and the services provided through it.

Article 2 (Definitions)

• "Site": the website kosmo.or.kr operated by the Foundation
• "User": anyone who accesses the Site and uses its services under these terms
• "Applicant": anyone who applies for medical support through the Site, including legal guardians
• "Donor": any individual or organization that applies to donate through the Site
• "Content": text, photos, videos and materials published on the Site

Article 3 (Publication, effect and amendment)

The Foundation publishes these terms on the Site. Amendments will be announced on the Site at least 7 days before they take effect, and previous versions will remain available on this page.

Article 5 (Medical support applications)

1. Applying does not guarantee support; decisions follow the Foundation's review.
2. Applicants must submit truthful information and documents. Measures in case of false documents will be set out after legal review.
3. Applicants are responsible for keeping their application number.

Article 6 (Donation applications)

1. A donation is made by bank transfer following the Foundation's instructions after the application.
2. Regular donations can be cancelled at any time by contacting the Foundation.
3. Conditions for issuing donation receipts will be published in these terms and on the donation pages once confirmed.

Article 7 (Medical information disclaimer)

Medical information on the Site, including the Sports Medicine Guide, is provided for general educational purposes and does not replace individual medical care or diagnosis. If you have symptoms or need treatment, consult a specialist at a medical institution. In an emergency, call 119 in Korea or go to the nearest emergency facility.

Article 8 (Copyright and use of content)

Copyright in the Site's content belongs to the Foundation or the original authors. The permitted scope of quotation and reuse will be published once the Foundation's policy is decided. The portrait rights of people in photos are protected.

Article 9 (User obligations)

• Do not use another person's information or enter false information.
• Do not collect information in bulk by automated means or interfere with the Site.
• Do not harvest email addresses published on the Site.

Article 10 (Suspension of service)

The Foundation may temporarily suspend services for maintenance, outages or other unavoidable reasons and will announce this on the Site.

Article 11 (External links)

The Foundation is not responsible for the content of external sites linked from the Site, such as map services or media outlets.

Article 12 (Privacy)

The Foundation protects users' personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Article 13 (Limitation of liability)

The Foundation is not liable where services cannot be provided due to force majeure, or for damage caused by the user's own fault.

Article 14 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The competent court will be specified after legal review.

Addendum

The effective date of these terms will be published once finalized after legal review.
